Japanese Spirit...

As threats of radiation continue the people of Tokyo are keeping their spirits up with many popular stores like Garter and Spank two shops in the trendy neighborhood of Koenji tweeting and blogging that they are open for business. Popular Japanese blogger Mamy posted some images today showing how strong the Japanese people can be in the face of adversity.
Hirofumi Kurino creative director of United Arrows and regular photographed subject of The Sartorialist says the company is staying open. He emphaised the need for the continuance of normal life in a time like this.“Fashion, happiness, fantasy…is what helps people. After every night, there is a bright morning.”
