Mary Gregory Designer Sale.............

Some of you may know the very talented Irish designer Mary Gregory from the Design Centre in Powerscourt, Dublin 2 where her collections sat amongst Louise Kennedy, Lainey Keogh, Marian Whisker and all the Irish design greats. Her design style is clean cut classics with amazing attention to detail, using luscious and innovative fabrics with a Japanese design silhouette. In advance of her eagerly awaited coming A/W 2012 collection, Mary is having a blitz designer sale of her stunning pieces with up to 90% off this Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd July from 10am to 8pm in the President's room at the RDS. All profits will go to Chernobyl Children International, which is a great cause. Mary kindly gifted me with a really beautiful piece from the collection which she will be selling this Friday and Saturday. I will treasure it forever. Made of silk organza and hand painted with the beautiful words from a Yeats poem called "Tread Softly".

HAD I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet,
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

W.B. Yeats
