I found you ......

A little worn round the edges, goes with your favourite jeans and is the thing you reach for when all else fails. Like an old trusted friend. The ultimate rock tee. I have always been a huge Guns n Roses fan. Now I know Axyl has been getting some serious bad press of "late" ( no pun intended!)and maybe he should just leave The G n R memories to those of the early days but the ultimate rock tee for me has always been a G N R tee. The vintage ones I found were always super cheesy. Slash in a guitar pose or snakes and skulls or various combinations of both. So when I saw my favourite blogger The Haute Pursuit wearing this tee I cryed a little. I WANT THIS TEE I thought. But didn't know what tour So I searched and searched finding skulls and crosses and more Slash faces. But God loves a tryer and how happy was I when this baby shows up on ebay for 99 cent. YES 99 cent. I am now the proud owner of this cool cool G n R tee.....

Whiter Than White ................

Collette Dinnegan

Ann Demeulemeester

Do I see a new trend for next Spring/ Summer? Many designers had totally white looks on the Paris catwalks with Chanel, Ann Demeulemeester, Valentino and Collette Dinnegan all getting on board. Bold colour and unique prints are so striking but nothing can turns heads like a total white ensemble on a woman. It's clean, fresh and screams confidence. So stock up on Daz and stay off the red wine because white is the colour of next summer.

Fendi S/S 11 Shades

These Fendi shades are the business. Really retro and I love the colour combo.

AA Plaid Shirt

Loving this sheer plaid shirt from American Apparel. I think it is around Euro 60 in the Dublin store. Which is a lot I suppose but they do charge that for more insignificant things. I think it is a piece that could be worn in many different ways. I am considering a purchase!

Dachshund Clutch

How cute is this clutch by Judith Leiber.Judith Leiber is known for her unusual clutchs doing everything from swans to apples to cupcakes in the past. For all dachshund lovers this kitsch little clutch is covered in crystals and is a whopping Euro 4,700. That's the price of two real ones. Ouch!!!

Charlie Le Mindu

Charlie Le Mindu wowed those present at his Hollywood themed show at London Fashion Week recently. This French born London based designer specializes in designing and making wigs using human hair and has dressed Ga Ga's head for many of her crazy tour ensembles. Charlie uses human hair in vibrant colours like bubble gum pink and acid yellow in crazy designs. He is known for his skill of weaving the hair. Sashaying down the catwalk were completely nude models wearing nothing but one of his wigs. The completely hair free models were a great canvas for the wigs!
This was his first collection that included clothing made from human hair. The audience was suprised at how luxe the human hair skirts and dresses were and looked even better than fur. Le Mindus work is proving popular with vegans and vegetarians who are against real fur but like the look and feel of wearing it. Human hair may the textile of the future! Le Mindus designs are stocked in hip boutique Machine A in London.See Drew Barrymore wearing a Le Mindu cape.

Bambi Blyth - Northwood at Chanel

Chanel S/S '11

Well you know you have made the bigtime when you have been chosen to walk for Chanel. Karl is always one to spot new talent and I was so happy to see that Bambi was walking the recent Chanel S/S 11 show. Bambi is the rising star from a wave of hot Aussie models at the moment and I think she is the best thing since sliced bread or Abbey Lee Kershaw at least! Now 20 she has been modelling since the age of 13 but made her break when she began dating Tsubi designer Dan Single. Known for her amazing eyebrows, piercing blue eyed stare and cut glass cheek bones, Bambi could definately be the female Leo Di Caprio. Standing at 5"7 she is quite small for catwalk proportions but this is not stopping the demand for her. She is by far my favourite model at the moment. I think her look is so unique. I heart you Bambi .......

Blow By Blow by Detmar Blow

I went out today to buy my copy of Detmar Blows biography of Isabella's life. There has been biographies before this one but I don't think anyone can give as good an insight to her life as her husband. Already many pages have been turned as I find out what made this fashion icon tick. She really was an amazing lady and one that broke all the rules. RIP Isabella

From Runway to VMA.....

Doesn't Florence Welch really do this Givenchy dress the justice it deserves? Not often do we see a couture dress made to look almost street dare I say, but Florence certainly makes it look wearable at the VMA's. Her height, milky skin and bright red hair are the perfect canvas for this golden work of art.
